16 year old girl stabbed to death by lover in rented room

After an argument, a 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death by her lover. The young man later went to the police station to surrender.

As of early morning on September 2, authorities were still blocking off and examining the scene to clarify the death of a girl named Hien (16 years old), in a rented room located in alley 164 Nguyen Van Linh (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. on September 1, after work, Ms. Hien and a young man (identity unknown) returned to their rented room and got into an argument. In a fit of anger, the young man stabbed Ms. Hien to death on the spot, then left.

At around 9:00 p.m. the same day (September 1), some people in the rented room discovered Ms. Hien lying on the floor with blood stains on her body, so they reported it to the police.

Upon receiving the report, authorities were present to block off the scene and take witness statements to serve the investigation.

According to some residents living near the boarding house, the couple worked at the same company nearby and moved in three months ago. During their time living together, the couple kept to themselves and rarely talked to those around them.
