A male student with a dream of creating Robocon.
(Baonghean.vn) - With a passion for model airplanes, Nguyen An Khang, from Khe Bai hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune (Nghia Dan district), currently studying at the Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology (Vinh City), has created many types of models to serve his hobby.
Khang shared: "When I was little, I was fascinated watching airplanes flying in the sky. I loved controlling the model airplanes my dad bought for me. Eventually, I took them apart to explore them. Then, in 10th grade, after watching tutorial videos online, I started experimenting and building my own model airplanes. To date, I've created around a dozen, big and small. And the SU F22 and F27 are the ones I'm most satisfied with."

According to Khang, building a model isn't difficult, but the important thing is getting it to work and fly in the sky, which is not easy at all. After having the idea to model it after the SU F-22 and F-27 aircraft, he searched online, researching their operating principles and design. Then, he drew blueprints and found materials. Khang utilized all the materials from scrap metal and bought additional accessories. He ordered the remote control from Hanoi for over 3 million dong. After just one afternoon, the model airplane was tested and able to fly in the sky.

I met Khang during his summer break, just as he was preparing to "perform" for his friends and the kids in the neighborhood. From the volleyball court's runway, the model gradually rose and hovered in the air, drawing admiration from everyone. Although it was just a model for entertainment and to fulfill his passion, the ideas of this student further demonstrated his creativity, his ability to overcome difficulties, and his determination to turn dreams into reality.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Khang's father, shared: "When he was little, Khang always enjoyed watching me repair electrical appliances like fans and rice cookers. As he grew older and gained some knowledge of physics, he helped me repair household items. Therefore, when he pursued his passion for creating model airplanes, which helped awaken and nurture his creativity and thinking skills, the whole family fully supported him."
Given the popularity of online games among young people, Khang's passion for exploring and assembling model airplanes for fun and entertainment is truly commendable.
