Chelsea buys back David Luiz for $45 million
After two seasons with PSG, the Brazilian centre-back returned to Stamford Bridge on a three-year contract.
David Luiz has arrived in London and completed his medical. He is Chelsea's second signing of the summer transfer window. Before signing Luiz, Antonio Conte bought left-back Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina for £25 million.

In 2011, Chelsea bought Luiz from Benfica for $28 million. The Brazilian midfielder played 143 games before moving to PSG in 2014 for a record $65 million.
Luiz won the Champions League and FA Cup with Chelsea in 2012, and the Europa League a year later. He won Ligue 1 twice with PSG. The 29-year-old has also made 56 appearances for Brazil.
Meanwhile, Alonso is making his third move to the Premier League. The 25-year-old defender previously played 46 times for Bolton before moving to Fiorentina. He was loaned out to Sunderland for four months in 2014.
Cesar Azpilicueta is currently the main player on the left wing for Chelsea. Previously, the London team loaned Baba Rahman. Chelsea have also just reached an agreement to loan Juan Cuadrado to Juventus for a period of three years.
