Online contest 'Learning about traffic safety laws' will be launched on October 5, 2016

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 5, the Department of Information and Communications held a meeting to inspect and review the contents of the online contest "Learning about traffic safety laws" on the provincial Information Portal in 2016.

Comrade Ho Quang Thanh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting. Attending were representatives of departments, branches and sectors that are members of the Organizing Committee.

This is the second year the Provincial People's Committee has organized the contest "Learning about traffic safety laws" in the form of an online test on the Provincial Portal at thiantoangiaothong.nghean.gov.vn.

The contest aims to raise awareness among all classes of people about the sense of obeying traffic safety laws, forming a culture of behavior when participating in traffic, reducing traffic accidents, traffic congestion and contributing to restoring traffic order and safety in the province.

At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee gave many constructive opinions on the number and content of questions; choosing the location for the launching and closing ceremony of the contest; time of organization; forms of propaganda, encouragement, rewards, etc.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Ho Quang Thanh - Director of the Department of Information and Communications, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said that the Organizing Committee agreed that the contest launch date would be October 5, 2016. He requested the test-making and test-evaluation teams to focus on completing the question set as soon as possible to update it on the provincial portal no later than September 20; media agencies actively promote the contest to attract a large number of contestants. The Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Youth Union issued an official dispatch to direct and guide schools to organize for youth union members and students to participate in the contest.
