How do people see me differently than I see myself?
Have you ever recorded yourself speaking, listened to it, and thought about how different it sounded? The way our voices travel through our skulls means that we never sound the same as someone else. The same goes for how we behave. Many actions we think are right, may not be right to others. Therefore, we need to gather feedback to understand and improve ourselves.
Who or I did better today?
Ending each day by asking yourself what you accomplished is a great way to stay focused on what really matters.
Are your actions right or wrong?
Surely, there are times when you feel guilty about something. This usually happens when that action violates your own values. If spending time with your family is one of the most important things, then don’t work too much or focus on other things. Life really has meaning when you care about the people you love.
If I achieve all my goals, how will I feel?
The ability to delay gratification in pursuing goals is one of the prerequisites for success, but that doesn't mean you have to put on a miserable face until you achieve them. You can do better and have more fun if you motivate yourself and have fun along the way.
What should I spend time learning about?
There is a big world out there with countless interesting things and secrets that have never been revealed. Scientists have hypothesized that it took humans 1,500 years to accumulate knowledge in this world, while now it only takes one or two years. Therefore, do not let yourself fall behind the pace of life's development.
What problems are we solving?
Have you ever been in a meeting and noticed that not everyone is talking to each other? Of course, they don’t talk much, because they all have different ideas about the purpose of the discussion. So you can write the topic on the board in the meeting room, to emphasize the purpose, the reason why they are there.
What problem area am I solving?
When solving any problem, you should accept that your ability is limited. Sometimes, we do not solve the work thoroughly or solve the relationship is not healthy. If you do not ask yourself where you are and what problem you are solving, it is difficult to escape that failure.
What do I want my life to be like in 5 years?
When you have a goal and a destination, planning and execution are a piece of cake. Five years is the perfect time frame to set and accomplish goals. It doesn’t have to be everything you need to do in the future, but at least it gives you a positive direction for the near future.
What would I do if I weren't afraid?
Fear is a common disease of many people. Sometimes, it makes you timid and unable to reach your goals. Instead, practice being strong, eliminate fear so that you can "carefreely" realize your dreams.
What qualities can I learn? From whom?
Everyone has qualities that you admire, which is a great thing to learn and improve yourself from.
What could stop me from doing what I should be doing?
It’s easy to shrug and say “I don’t know what to do,” but that’s just an excuse. Most of the time, we know exactly what we should do; we’re just not willing to move the obstacles in our way.
Will you be my teacher?
This may seem like a scary question to ask, but very few people will say no. People love to be respected and appreciated, so they are always happy and excited to share their knowledge and experience with others.
What are the most important lessons I have learned in life?
Sometimes, life “lulls” us to sleep, turns us into complacent people, so each of us needs to be twice as strong. You need to wake up, face the reality of life, how small you are, and constantly try to learn and improve yourself.
