In the 2015-2016 school year, Huynh Thuc Khang High School had over 90% of students classified as good or excellent. The results of the national high school exam showed that 528 students graduated from high school with 100%, over 97% of students achieved the university entrance exam floor score, many students achieved high scores. Notably, 18 grade 11 students achieved provincial level excellent student, 01 student won the 2016 Nghe An province youth and children creativity contest, 07 grade 11 students achieved provincial IOE, 01 student achieved national IOE. This school year, the school welcomed 560 grade 10 students with the highest admission score in the province.
