Nghe An has 41 agricultural cooperatives with good production and business.

(Baonghean.vn) - In Nghe An province, there are 469 agricultural cooperatives, of which 128 were newly established after the 2012 Law on Cooperatives and 27 agricultural cooperatives that have ceased operations and are subject to forced dissolution.

According to the Department of Rural Development, there are currently 41 good cooperatives, accounting for 8.74%, 143 good cooperatives, accounting for 30.5%, and average and weak cooperatives account for 60.76% of the total number of cooperatives.

Of the total 469 agricultural cooperatives, there are 42 crop cooperatives, 3 forestry cooperatives, 385 general service cooperatives, 15 salt cooperatives, 12 aquaculture cooperatives, 11 livestock cooperatives and 1 farm owner.
