Third-grade boy dies from electric shock at his study desk.

While studying at home in the evening, a young boy was electrocuted to death. The incident occurred at approximately 8 PM last night (September 16th) in Ngai Cau village, An Khanh commune (Hoai Duc district, Hanoi).

According to the report, at the time mentioned, Mr. Bui Mau D (residing in Ngai Cau, An Khanh) went to his son Bui Mau V's (born in 2008) study desk to check on him and was horrified to discover the child had died, his body turning purple and slumped next to the desk. Upon examination, the family discovered that the electrical wire connected to the desk lamp was exposed, causing an electric shock that led to the tragic death.

Overwhelmed with grief at the unexpected accident that befell their son, the family held a funeral for the ill-fated child this morning (September 17).

Speaking to Dan Viet newspaper, Mr. Pho Dinh Binh, Secretary of the Party Branch of Ngai Cau village, confirmed the incident. According to Mr. Binh, following this tragic event, the local authorities have visited and offered condolences and support to the family in their immense grief.

"This was a very dangerous electrical accident, and people must pay special attention when letting their children near electrical equipment to avoid such unfortunate incidents," Mr. Binh warned.

The family is currently carrying out the necessary procedures for V's funeral.
