(Baonghean.vn) - During two days (September 20 and 21, 2016), the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department delegation led by comrade Kha Van Tam - Deputy Head of the Department visited and worked at the Naval Region 1 Command (Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong).

At the meeting, the two sides reported on the results of coordination in propaganda work on seas and islands in recent times and exchanged some information related to the current situation of seas and islands.
Colonel Pham Van Quang - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Naval Region 1 thanked and highly appreciated the responsible coordination of departments, branches, sectors and localities of Nghe An province in propaganda work on seas and islands, especially the coordination contents between the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Naval Region 1 Command every year.
Colonel Pham Van Quang also hopes that in the coming time, Nghe An province and units in the region will continue to closely coordinate, promote the achievements, improve the quality of propaganda about the sea and islands, including the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands.

After the working session, the delegation visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the 147th Marine Brigade; the 158th Recruit Training Battalion; the 679th Coastal Missile Brigade and the 267th Ship Team of the 4th Naval Region.
This is one of the activities in the Sea and Island Propaganda Coordination Program between the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Naval Region 1 Command in 2016, practically celebrating the 41st anniversary of the founding of the Naval Region 1 (October 26, 1975 - October 26, 2016).
