This is the first property display center for auction in Vietnam managed by Lac Viet Auction Joint Stock Company.
The above information was announced by Ms. Do Thi Hong Hanh, General Director of Lac Viet Auction Joint Stock Company on September 20, in Hanoi.
The center will display works of art that are about to be auctioned, and is a place for people who want to sign an authorization contract for auction or visit the auction property exhibition, meet and discuss art.
The center has an area of nearly 1,000 square meters, divided into 2 floors, mainly for displaying products and a hall for organizing auctions of works of art.
There will be auctions of assets of organizations and individuals who voluntarily use the auction method instead of the usual, popular way of selling. Each auction will have a minimum of 5 works of art.
On the opening day of the Center, an auction will be held with 6 works of art, of which 5 works have starting prices from 15-50 million VND/work.
The works on sale include the lacquer painting "Tung Loc Thanh Le" (170cmx92cm, 20th century); the motto "Love of brothers" (140cmx65cm, 19th century); a pair of Bat Trang vases from the Nguyen Dynasty (26cmx60cm, 19th century); a pair of buffaloes competing for power (95cmx32cmx40cm, 20th century) and a pair of Qing Dynasty porcelain jars (25cmx45cm, 19th century).
In this auction, artist Nguyen Thu will also bring the silk painting "Northwest Landscape" (88cmx62cm, 1991), offered with a starting price of 110 million VND.
Lac Viet Auction Joint Stock Company has organized 1,000 auctions. Previously, at the end of May 2016, the Company also successfully organized the auction of the first 5 artworks./.
