Female driver's car overturns after spotting a spider in rearview mirror.

According to the New York Post, a sudden accident occurred in Portland, Oregon, USA, when a female driver panicked after seeing a spider in her rearview mirror and lost control of the steering wheel.

As a result, the car overturned and plunged into a ditch by the side of the road.

Police said the woman sustained fairly serious injuries. Meanwhile, the spider escaped from the scene.

This isn't the first time spiders have caused car accidents in the US. Last year, a 9-year-old boy in Indiana was seriously injured when his mother spotted a spider on his shoulder and lost control of her vehicle.
