(Baonghean.vn)- Just after 3 days of fleeing the area, the house of Mrs. Tran Thi Soa and Mr. Cao Xuan Nam, who specialized in collecting debts and lending money at high interest rates in Hamlet 9, Dien Thanh Commune, was destroyed by hundreds of creditors, and all the property in the house was taken away.
Ms. Tran Thi Chung, Hamlet 9, Dien Thanh Commune said: Mrs. Soa and her husband have been collecting money for decades, with thousands of participants. On the morning of September 16, Mrs. Soa was still seen collecting money from the people, but that night she was no longer at home. Unexpectedly, Mrs. Soa and Mr. Nam did that, the people were shocked by the bad news.
Currently, business and trading at Phu Dien market seem to be stagnant, the scene of confusion is widespread as traders are frantically searching for Mrs. Soa and her husband to get their money back.

Mrs. Soa's house was demolished by the creditor. |
According to the Phu Dien Market Management Board, the market has more than 500 business households, of which more than 300 households contribute to Mrs. Soa's ward. Although the Management Board has only received 2 collective petitions from 6 households, the amount of money they have been defrauded has reached 2 billion VND.
For example, in the case of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai - a trader at Phu Dien market, she collected from selling eggs and money sent by her children working abroad, every day she contributed 2 million VND to Mrs. Soa. The payment certificate was just a small book recording the amount and Mrs. Soa's signature. Every 4 months, Mrs. Mai received the money from Mrs. Mai, earning tens of millions of VND in interest. The amount of money Mrs. Soa is still holding from Mrs. Mai is currently 160 million VND.

Phu Dien traders were upset and went to the market management board to file a complaint. |
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai - choked up: The whole Phu Dien market trusted her, the women contributed all their love to her, many people contributed even more money than me. Like Mrs. Tam 800 million, Mr. Hien lent cash 500 million, and many women gave hundreds, two hundred, three hundred million at most, at least 15 to 20 million.
Hiding under the name of “Charity Aid Fund”, people pooled money to lend to the needy but the interest rate was very high. Therefore, not only the people in Dien Thanh commune, Town but Mrs. Soa’s ward contribution activity also took place in dozens of communes with thousands of people from Dien An, Dien Thinh, Dien Ngoc, Dien Ky communes…

Everywhere in Dien Thanh you can see the scene of broken savings and credit association. |
According to our records, at Phu Dien market and Dien Chau town market, 2/3 of the private households contributed to the hui or lent to Mrs. Soa. Some gave at least 20 million, some as much as 800 million VND. Previously, the collection and disbursement of the hui's money by Mrs. Soa and her husband were fair and always on time, with high interest rates, so more and more people were attracted to participate. Although there are no specific statistics, according to many people, this hui collapse did not stop at tens of billions of VND.
Mr. Cao Duc Bong - Vice Chairman of Dien Thanh Commune People's Committee said: Participating in the guild association in the form of Charity Fund in the market is actually spontaneous, we did not grasp everything, only when the incident broke out, some traders came to the house to confiscate property did we really know that it was due to playing hui. The incident happened unexpectedly, Mrs. Soa and Mr. Nam fled the locality, currently the authorities have reported and handed over the incident to the police to coordinate with other investigation agencies to clarify.
