(Baonghean.vn) - Voters have petitioned the government to study and expand the model of organizing competitive examinations for appointing leadership positions, as some provinces have already implemented, to ensure the selection of the right people with sufficient virtue and talent for the state's public administration.
The relevant authorities have responded to this issue as follows:
In implementing the Conclusion of the 9th Conference of the Central Committee of the 10th Party Congress on continuing to promote the implementation of the Cadre Strategy from now until 2020, Government Resolution No. 30c/NQ-CP dated November 8, 2011, promulgating the overall program for state administrative reform for the period 2011-2020, and Prime Minister's Decision No. 1557/QĐ-TTg dated October 18, 2012, approving the Project "Promoting reform of the civil service and public official regime", the Ministry of Interior has chaired and coordinated with ministries, sectors, and localities to develop a project on competitive examinations for leadership and management positions.

This policy was unanimously approved by the Politburo in Conclusion Notice No. 202-TB/TW, dated May 26, 2015, of the Politburo on the Project "Pilot program to innovate the method of selecting leaders and managers at the departmental, divisional, and office levels".
