Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association visits farmers affected by floods
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 27, a working delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association, led by Mr. Tran Van Huong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Association, visited and encouraged farmer households that suffered heavy losses after the recent flood.

In Tuong Duong district, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented 5 million VND to the family of Mrs. Vi Thi Hoi (Pung village, Luu Kien commune) whose house and property were swept away by the flood and who is now living in a temporary shelter; and 2 million VND to the family of Mr. Xen Van Vinh (Xoong Coong village, Luu Kien commune) whose 9 pigs and barn were swept away by the flood.
Also on this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association visited and encouraged 48 farming households of 4 districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Que Phong, and Quy Chau that suffered heavy losses in the flood.

In localities, leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association kindly visited the affected households; encouraged the Association at all levels and members to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. At the same time, 48 gifts were presented to households with a total value of 31.5 million VND, each gift worth from 500 thousand to 5 million VND.
