Massacre in Quang Ninh, 4 grandmother and grandchildren were brutally murdered

At around 7am on September 24, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh in Hop Thanh area, Phuong Nam ward, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province, after working the night shift, opened the door and discovered her mother, 2 children and 1 grandchild brutally murdered in the house.

The victims included Thanh's biological mother, Nguyen Thi Hat, 55 years old; Thanh's two children, Pham Dinh Hung, 9 years old, Pham Thu Ha, 8 years old, and Thanh's niece Vu Thi Huyen, 3 years old.

According to many people living next to the victim's house, last night Ms. Thanh went to work the night shift at a gas station on Highway 10. Before going to work, Ms. Thanh asked her mother to come and look after the house. Ms. Thanh's husband was in a traffic accident last October.

The victim's family was also present at the scene of the incident.

Some neighbors also said that the afternoon of the previous day (September 23), two young men came to Ms. Thanh's house.

Immediately after receiving the information, the civil defense force and local police arrived at the scene and reported to Uong Bi City Police and Quang Ninh Provincial Police.
