An 18-year-old man, armed with a knife, suddenly held a young woman hostage in front of Taekwan Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Dong Nai).

The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 PM on October 1st in Quarter 1, Long Binh Tan Ward (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province). According to initial information, at that time, an 18-year-old man carrying a knife stood in front of Taekwan Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park) and suddenly threatened a woman in her 20s.

Terrified, the girl called a relative to pick her up from work. When they reached the intersection of the military base and the open university (Ward 1, Long Binh Tan Commune), the young man on the motorbike continued to approach her vehicle closely.

At that moment, as the victim fell to the ground, the young man immediately used a knife with a yellow handle to stab her. When the victim tried to escape, the young man stabbed her wrist (where she wore a watch) and then stabbed her in the chest. Fortunately, the knife bent at that point, preventing further injury.

Upon receiving the report, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to apprehend the suspect and take him to the police station. At the police station, the victim stated that the young man had repeatedly called and sent threatening messages beforehand, and fearing physical harm, she had tried to contact her family.

Reportedly, the young man was severely addicted to video games. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
