Make your own gac oil for the whole family.
Gac oil is not only good for your health but also makes dishes more visually appealing and delicious. Making gac oil at home is actually not difficult, and it's both safe and economical.
First, choose long, evenly ripened gac fruit. After purchasing, scrape out all the red flesh and the yellow inner pulp, then dry it in a pan. If you have time and a clean place to dry it, you can dry it until it's completely dry and the membrane can be peeled off the seeds. This will make the gac oil thicker and more viscous.
Add enough cooking oil to completely cover the gac fruit, stir well with chopsticks, and cook over low heat until the gac fruit pulp dries out (use the lowest heat setting and do not let the oil boil). When cooking gac oil, do not try to dry it out completely, as this will cause the oil to have a burnt smell. Turn off the heat and wait for the oil to cool.

Using a sieve to filter the oil, you will obtain pure gac oil. Pour the gac oil into a bottle and store it in the refrigerator; you can preserve it for up to a year.
