Suspecting his wife of having an affair, he stabbed her with a bayonet and seriously injured her.

On October 7, Team 8 of the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police arrested Luong Thanh Ha, 39 years old, registered permanent residence in Thuy Son commune, Thuy Nguyen district, to investigate the crime of intentionally causing injury.

Previously, on October 3, in Ngo Yen village, An Hong commune, An Duong district, Luong Thanh Ha had an argument with his wife, Dinh Thi Dinh, 36 years old. In a fit of anger, Ha used an AK to stab Dinh many times, one of which pierced her chest and lung, several times severing muscles and injuring her legs and arms, then fled the scene.

Immediately afterwards, neighbors took Ms. Dinh to the emergency center in Quan Toan, Hong Bang district. Due to the severity of her injuries, Ms. Dinh was transferred to a higher-level hospital and treated at Viet Duc hospital.

Immediately after receiving the report from An Duong District Police, the Criminal Police Department of Hai Phong City Police promptly arrived at the scene, blocked off and arrested the suspect. At around 11:00 a.m. on October 7, the suspect was caught.

At the investigation agency, Ha confessed all his actions. Due to many disagreements and suspicions that his wife was having an affair, he could not control himself and acted impulsively, causing serious consequences as above.
