When asked about Trump's speech, 63% said the candidate spoke better than they expected, while 21% said it was worse, and 15% said he spoke the same as before.

Previously, Mr. Trump's statements led to a crisis in his election campaign.

On October 7, a video appeared with comments made by the candidate 11 years ago, in which Trump used vulgar language to brag about harassing women.

After the video was released, a series of prominent Republicans called on Trump to withdraw as a presidential candidate in the race for the White House, an unprecedented move in contemporary American political history.

Previously, according to a poll conducted by Politico newspaper and Morning Consult company on October 8, nearly 40% of American voters wanted candidate Donald Trump to withdraw from the presidential race after the latest scandal.
