Benteke set a new record when he dribbled past the entire Gibraltar defence, taking just seven seconds from the ball to the net.
Benteke's achievement surpassed the old record of eight seconds set by San Marino player Davide Gualtieri when scoring against England in 1993.
After the historic goal, Benteke scored two more goals to complete his hat-trick. Midfielders Axel Witsel, Dries Mertens and Eden Hazard were also on the scoresheet, helping Belgium win 6-0.
After the victory over Gibraltar, Belgium continues to lead Group H of the European World Cup qualifiers. Benteke and his teammates have now won all three matches, with 9 points equal to Greece but with a better goal difference.
