Speaking in Paris, French President Francois Hollande affirmed that, although he did not take sides in the US election, he still hoped that Clinton would win.

This statement by the French President comes ahead of the second debate, scheduled to take place on October 9th at the University of Washington in Missouri.

According to opinion polls, Democratic presidential candidate Clinton is leading her Republican opponent Donald Trump in the race for the White House.
