Nghe An Charity Association in Taiwan gives 105 million VND to workers in distress

(baonghean.vn) - In recent days, representatives of the Nghe An Charity Association in Taiwan have organized a gift-giving ceremony for workers and relatives of Nghe An workers who were in trouble in Taiwan.

Giving gifts to Mr. Nguyen Duy Mau, in Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Chuong), who had a work accident and had to have his leg amputated, in Kaohsiung city - Taiwan.

In Taiwan, the Association presented 2 gifts to the following men: Nguyen Duy Mau, from Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Chuong), who had a work accident and had to have one foot amputated, worth 40,000 NTD (equivalent to 28 million VND), and Le Van Nham, from Nam Phuc commune (Nam Dan), who has leukemia, worth 10,000 NTD (equivalent to 7 million VND).

In Nghe An, the Association gave 1 gift to a worker who had an accident in Taiwan: Mr. Le Van Trinh in Hamlet 2, Hanh Lam Commune (Thanh Chuong) with the amount of 25 million VND, 2 gifts to the relatives of Mr. Nguyen Van Dung in Hamlet 17, Phuc Tho Commune (Nghi Loc) with the amount of 20 million VND, and the relatives of Mr. Hoang Ngoc Cuong in Hai Bac Hamlet, Dien Bich Commune (Dien Chau) with the amount of 20 million VND.

In addition, the Association also visited and gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances: Mr. Le Van Kieu's family in hamlet 6, Nghi Cong Nam commune (Nghi Loc) with the amount of 5 million VND.
