Journalist Le Binh resigns as director of VTV24.

Vietnam Television will transfer Ms. Le Binh, Director of the VTV 24 News Center, to another position.

On the afternoon of October 5th, a screenshot of a message posted by Ms. Le Binh on VTV24's internal Facebook group, announcing her departure from the unit, circulated on social media.

On October 5th, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Television held a meeting to consider the reassignment of journalist Le Binh, Director of the VTV 24 News Center.

Mr. Tran Binh Minh, Director General of Vietnam Television, told Tuoi Tre newspaper that the official information from the station is that journalist Le Binh will be assigned to another job and will no longer be the director of the VTV24 News Center.

"Ms. Binh is still a senior leader in the department, and the station will consider assigning tasks to maximize the capabilities of its staff," Mr. Tran Binh Minh said in a text message.

Ms. Le Binh was born in 1973 and is from Ha Nam province. Prior to her transfer, Ms. Binh was the Director of VTV24 Center, the unit responsible for producing the "Chuyen Dong 24h" (24h News) program.
