More than 500 teachers participate in the Excellent Teacher Contest at Secondary School level

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 11, Nghe An Department of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2016 Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for Secondary Schools.

The contest was attended by 520 teachers who had at least twice won the title of excellent teacher at the district level, and achieved good or higher in the professional standards for secondary school teachers from secondary schools in the province.

520 teachers from secondary schools in the province participated in the contest.

The Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition at Secondary School level is an outstanding professional activity of the Education sector in the 2016-2017 school year. This is the second competition at Secondary School level organized in accordance with Circular 21 of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training requested that the candidates should promote self-respect and professional qualities to take the exam seriously, fairly and in accordance with regulations.

The contest is an opportunity for teachers to compete, improve their knowledge, practice professional skills, affirm their knowledge and professional qualifications, thereby accumulating more experience in teaching.
