Man who threw stones at two traffic police officers arrested.

Seeing traffic police officers from Krông Păk district, Đăk Lăk province, patrolling nearby, Nam rallied about 10 young men to throw stones "for fun," injuring two officers.

On October 13th, the police in Krông Păk district, Đăk Lăk province, detained Ngô Trung Nam (18 years old) for investigation into the crime of intentionally causing injury.

Nam confessed that on the afternoon of October 4th, when he saw traffic police officers from Krông Păk district patrolling near the gate of Vụ Bổn commune's People's Committee, he incited about 10 young men to rush out and throw stones "for fun".

The hailstorm injured Lieutenant Nguyen Truong Chinh and Sergeant Tran Thai Hung, who were hospitalized. Lieutenant Chinh suffered a fractured kneecap in his left leg.

After committing the crime, Nam fled to Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City, where he was arrested on October 12th.

The police in Krông Păk district are continuing to pursue the remaining suspects.
