Obama votes early before election day November 8
On October 7, US President Barack Obama voted early before the presidential election on November 8.
During a surprise visit to Chicago, Illinois, Mr.Obama voted in Cook County.
The US Constitution allows voters to vote early if they register and explain their reasons. Illinois is Mr Obama's home state, where he served as a senator before becoming the 45th owner of the White House in the 2008 election.

According to new polls, Democratic presidential candidate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton currently has 226 electoral votes while Republican rival Donald Trump has 165. The candidate who wins 270 out of 538 electoral votes will be declared the winner.
In the 2016 presidential election, voters in two-thirds of US states are expected to start voting early, either online or by mail, from the third week of October. These are states that have clearly shown a tendency to vote for Hillary or Trump.
