Who do Russians have the most negative attitude towards?
(Baonghean.vn) - According to Sputnik, the results of a newly published social opinion survey by the Levada Center revealed the fact that the majority of Russians have negative attitudes towards the US, the European Union (EU), Türkiye and Ukraine.

20% of survey respondents admitted to having a "very negative" attitude towards the world's number 1 economy, while another 44% chose "basically bad" when asked about this issue. Only 2% "favored" a "very good" rating for the US, and 21% chose "basically good".
The European Union received similar views from Russian respondents, with 17% rating it very negative and 41% “generally bad”. Only a quarter of respondents rated it “generally positive” and just 2% said they had a “very good” view of the EU.
Sociologists say that despite the warming trend in Russia-Türkiye relations, the majority of Russians still have a negative view of the country. 13% of respondents admitted that they strongly dislike Türkiye and 40% rated Ankara as “basically bad”.
Ukraine is the next name on the list of countries and groups of countries with negative attitudes in Russia. "Basically bad" is the opinion of 38% of survey respondents towards Ukraine, and "very bad" is the opinion of 18%. Meanwhile, 24% still reserve a positive attitude towards Kiev and 2% rate this country "very good".
The survey took place in late September, with 1,600 respondents from 48 regions of Russia. The Nevada Center asserted that the survey's statistical error did not exceed 3.4%.
