Candidates from the North Central region, from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, took the test at the Vinh University of Technical Education (Vinh City, Nghe An). |

| Đây cũng là kỳ thi mà công tác bảo mật, an ninh được thực hiện rất nghiêm ngặt. Việc ra đề, chấm thi do Cơ quan phát triển nguồn lực Hàn Quốc thực hiện; đề thi được bảo mật, vận chuyển từ Hàn Quốc sang Việt Nam và phát tại phòng thi. Tại khu vực làm bài thi có cổng từ, thiết bị dò kim loại phát hiện các thiết bị liên lạc, điện tử.... kết hợp với các biện pháp kiểm tra khác.
