Two people were hacked to death in a brawl over rambutan price conflict.
Due to a dispute over selling price, two families with two fruit stalls got into a fight, leaving two people dead and two injured.
On October 6, Tan Binh District Police are coordinating with relevant professional units to investigate and clarify the scuffle and stabbing that occurred at the fruit selling area at Tan Tru market (Ward 15, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) that left two young men dead and two others injured.

The incident happened at around 7pm on October 5th in the area next to Tan Tru market, Tan Binh district. Locals said that at that time, a man named Tam (about 55 years old), the owner of a fruit stall at Tan Tru market, and two young men named Khang and Nhi, who sold fruit at the stall next door, were arguing loudly with each other. The initial cause was a conflict over the price of rambutan, one side was selling off their goods, leaving the other side unable to sell.
Unable to control themselves, both sides rushed into a fight, causing a young man named Bang (about 29 years old, Mr. Tam's son), Nhi (about 19 years old), and Khang (about 17 years old, Mr. Nhi's cousin) to be seriously injured.
The fight left Nhi and Khang slashed and later died. Bang was critically slashed and is in the emergency room. Tam has been detained by the police.
Upon receiving the news, Tan Binh District authorities quickly arrived at the scene to examine the crime scene and investigate the cause. The victim’s family is currently holding a funeral.
