The Lang Son Provincial Police Department has just announced the urgent arrest of Hoang Van Tien (33 years old, residing at 76 Lam Nghiep Hamlet, Cau Lam area, Loc Binh town, Loc Binh district, and currently living in Ban Vien village, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city) for the crime of robbery.

Earlier, at around 8 PM on October 20th, a handbag snatching incident occurred on Ba Trieu Street, Vinh Trai Ward, Lang Son City, Lang Son Province. The victim, a woman riding a motorbike, was approached from behind by a young man on a motorbike who forcefully snatched her handbag, causing her to fall heavily to the ground and sustain serious head injuries requiring emergency hospitalization.

The city police concentrated their forces and implemented investigative measures. Within just one hour, they identified the perpetrator of the robbery and executed an urgent arrest warrant against Hoang Van Tien (33 years old, residing at 76 Lam Nghiep Hamlet, Cau Lam area, Loc Binh town, Loc Binh district, and currently living in Ban Vien village, Hoang Dong commune, Lang Son city, Lang Son province). It is known that Tien is a teacher at a primary school in Loc Binh district.

Through questioning, the suspect Tien confessed to committing two other phone snatching incidents in addition to the aforementioned robbery. The investigating agency has recovered the stolen property and is continuing to investigate and clarify the actions of Hoang Van Tien in order to handle the case strictly according to the law.

The incident is currently under investigation by the police.
