Rescue drills and handing over disaster warning equipment
(Baonghean.vn) -On October 14, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Kim Commune, Nam Dan District to present 30 clean water tanks (each tank holds 1,500 liters), 2 rescue boats, 6 portable speakers, 30 lifebuoys, 01 camera, 01 computer and FM early warning loudspeaker equipment to Nam Kim Commune, with a total value of over 220 million VND.
Along with that, the Red Cross also coordinated to organize evacuation drills for people from high-risk hamlets to safe places, to reinforce houses for single-parent and elderly households; to practice rescuing drowning victims, giving CPR, bandaging, and fixing broken bones... for key commune-level officials and the commune rescue team.
