(Baonghean.vn) - This is the third time a herd of elephants has come to the garden to destroy bamboo shoots, jackfruit, tea, acacia trees, and agarwood trees of Mr. Nguyen Cong Dan's family (Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district).
In recent days, in hamlet 15/7, Thanh Duc commune (Thanh Chuong), a herd of 6 wild elephants (1 small, 3 medium and 2 large) appeared and destroyed the crops of Mr. Nguyen Cong Dan and Mrs. Le Thi Ky.

At 1:30 a.m. on October 15, despite heavy rain in the area, the herd of elephants continued to come to Mr. Nguyen Cong Dan's garden. Despite being chased away, the herd of elephants destroyed about 4 sao of tea, 100 meters of bushes and bamboo shoots.

Mr. Dan also added that at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, October 15, a herd of elephants appeared in the rubber forest near his house, and that the herd might come out earlier tonight. Mr. Dan has reported to the Commune People's Committee, District People's Committee and Forest Protection Department to find a solution.
