Military engineers are searching Dinh Mountain for the helicopter carrying three officers that crashed.

According to the Tan Thanh District Military Command (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), yesterday afternoon...The crash site has been identified near a temple on Dinh Mountain. Some debris believed to be the helicopter's tail section has been seen. However, due to the rugged terrain and difficult conditions, including heavy rain, search teams have been unable to reach the crash site.

At approximately 7:40 AM on October 18th, an EC130 T2 helicopter from the Training Center (Ba Ria - Vung Tau, belonging to the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation) was conducting a training flight. More than 15 minutes later, contact was lost in the area northwest of Dinh Mountain, about 25 km from Vung Tau airport. There was one instructor and two trainees on board.

The Ministry of Defense, along with Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, mobilized more than 400 people and 3 helicopters to search for the missing aircraft.
