According to the Military Command of Tan Thanh District (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), yesterday afternoon, the location of the plane crash was determined near the temple on Dinh mountain. At around 7:40 a.m. on October 18, an EC130 T2 helicopter from the Training Center (Ba Ria - Vung Tau, under the Vietnam Helicopter Corporation) was on a training flight. More than 15 minutes later, the aircraft lost contact in the northwest area of ​​Dinh Mountain, about 25 km from Vung Tau airport. There was an instructor and two students on board.

The Ministry of National Defense and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province mobilized more than 400 people and 3 helicopters to search for the plane.
