Miss Ao Dai runner-up Phuong Linh is currently representing Vietnam at the Miss International 2016 pageant. During the competition, she impressed with the "Japan Tourism Ambassador" award. Ahead of the final stages of the competition, Phuong Linh has officially revealed images of the official national costume she will wear at the final night.

The national costume segment is always a captivating part of the Miss Vietnam pageant, because in addition to highlighting the beauty of the wearer, each design also reflects the culture and unique meaning of that nation. This national costume is the creation of designer Dinh Van Tho, using white as the main color. The meaning of this costume is to honor the youthfulness and purity while still exuding the authority and elegance of Vietnamese women.

Phía trước của bộ trang phục là hình ảnh những chú chim bồ câu đang bay lượn để mang niềm hy vọng, những hoài bão của một thế giới hòa bình đi khắp nơi.
The front of the outfit features images of doves soaring, carrying the hope and aspirations of a peaceful world to all corners of the globe.

The back of the robe is designed to showcase the elegance and power of Vietnamese women. However, the main point is that the robe depicts a Japanese woman in kimono offering tea to a Vietnamese woman wearing an ao dai.

Theo chia sẻ của Phương Linh:
According to Phuong Linh: "In the Japanese tea ceremony, an indispensable element is the flower arrangement. Instead of sitting and enjoying tea while admiring the flower arrangement, Linh chose for the two women to admire lotus flowers against the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms, the symbol of the Land of the Rising Sun, instead of sitting and enjoying tea while admiring the flower arrangement."

Trang phục dân tộc của Phương Linh vừa quảng bá hình ảnh phụ nữ Việt, vừa thể hiện sự giao lưu văn hóa, tình hữu nghị và hòa bình.
Phuong Linh's national costume not only promotes the image of Vietnamese women but also reflects cultural exchange, friendship, and peace.

Currently, the contestants of the Miss International pageant are entering the final stages of their activities and training in preparation for the grand finale, which will take place on October 27th in Japan.
