The Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Infonet online newspaper have been temporarily suspended.

On the afternoon of October 19th, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan signed decisions to temporarily suspend Mr. Vo Dang Thien, Editor-in-Chief of Infonet online newspaper, and Mr. Pham Thanh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, from their positions.

According to decisions No. 1824/QD-BTTTT and 1825/QD-BTTTT, Mr. Vo Dang Thien and Mr. Pham Thanh will be suspended from their positions for 15 days to clarify their personal responsibility for the violations committed by Infonet online newspaper in the recent past.

During this 15-day period, Mr. Nguyen Van Ba, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, was assigned to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the newspaper, according to Decision No. 1826/QD-BTTTT.
