Vietnam crowned Miss Global Beauty Queen 2016

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen (23 years old) surpassed 41 representatives from other countries to win the crown in the final night in Seoul, Korea, on the evening of October 24.

On her personal page, Ngoc Duyen shared her joy and pride in the moment of her coronation. Before that, she confided: "The result is not important, anyway, I tried my best. Being able to represent a country in the competition is already a great pride, I wish all the girls luck and do your best."

The Vietnamese representative was licensed by the Department of Performing Arts to compete on October 3. In the national costume competition, Ngoc Duyen chose a brocade ao dai to show off the beauty of Vietnamese women.

Ngoc Duyen is from Vung Tau, 1.74 m tall. She has a balanced figure, smooth white skin and a kind Asian smile. Ngoc Duyen became known to many people after winning the bronze prize of Supermodel 2015. She was also in the top 5 of the 2012 Women of the Era Beauty contest..

Miss Global Beauty Queen, which was first held in China in 2005, celebrates the beauty, compassion and strength of women in modern society. Initially, the contest was only for representatives from cities around the world. In 2011, the contest was held in Korea on a larger scale for representatives from countries. Contestant Phan Thi Huong Giang of Vietnam was in the Top 15 of Miss Global Beauty Queen 2011.

Last year, in a contest held in Korea, model Lam Thuy Anh was awarded the title of 4th runner-up despite participating illegally. She was fined 22.5 million VND when she returned home. Miss Global Beauty Queen 2015 was Vethaka Pethsuk from Thailand.

This year, the competition was held in Seoul from October 4 to 24.
