Bringing 2 tons of smelly internal organs into the industrial zone for consumption

On the afternoon of October 19, the Vinh City Destruction Task Force destroyed 2,000 kg of animal organs of unknown origin that were emitting a foul odor.

Previously, at 2:00 p.m. on October 14, we received information from the public that a truck carrying goods of unknown origin was parked at Hoang Mai Industrial Park, Tan Thanh block, Quynh Tien ward, Hoang Mai town.

2,000kg of animal organs were stinking.

The Economic Police Department of Nghe An Police coordinated with Hoang Mai Town Police to inspect a truck with license plate KC 6013 driven by Nguyen Truong Son (born in 1974), residing in Tan Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the truck bed contained many styrofoam boxes and bags of snake carcasses containing 2,000kg of various types of animal viscera such as: heart, kidney, intestines, and pig's feet that were emitting a foul odor.

At the time of inspection, the vehicle owner could not present any documents proving the origin. The working group took the person, vehicle and evidence to the headquarters of the Economic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police for investigation.

The shipment was handed over to Vinh City Veterinary Station for destruction according to regulations.

Here, Mr. Son said that he hired a woman named Nguyen Thi Thao, also living in Ninh Binh city, to transport the organs to Hoang Mai Industrial Park to deliver to an unknown man for consumption.

The working group has decided to impose an administrative penalty and hand over the shipment to Vinh City Veterinary Station for destruction in accordance with regulations.
