After arguing with her boyfriend on the way home, Dung drove alone for a while before being threatened with an electric baton by three robbers and forced to hand over her property.

On October 31, Tan Binh District Police, Ho Chi Minh City, detained Tran Duong Thai Hoa (aka Hoa Mau, 42 years old), Nguyen Anh Tuan (18 years old) and Thai Phuoc Anh (27 years old) for robbery.

Before that, Ms. Dung (20 years old) and her boyfriend rode a new scooter home on A4 Street (Ward 12, Tan Binh District) at dawn. When they were near the place where they argued, the young man got off and walked, while the girl rode her motorbike for a while and then stopped to wait.

Suddenly, three young men on two motorbikes approached Dung, flashed electric batons and threatened to force her to give them her motorbike. The victim panicked and abandoned her motorbike, calling for help. Dung's boyfriend ran to the scene but the robbers had already escaped with the motorbike in the trunk, which contained a phone and money.

The police seized several security cameras around the area and searched for the robbers. However, Dung was too scared and could not remember their identities, making the search difficult.

Recently, detectives discovered that the victim's car had its license plate changed and had been sold to many people. Following the clues, they determined that Hoa and his accomplices had committed the robbery and arrested them.

The investigation agency is expanding the case.
