(Baonghean.vn)- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on November 1 that Russia will not be able to extend the halt in bombing targets in the Syrian city of Aleppo if rebel forces in the city continue to conduct attacks on the ground.

Responding to reporters by phone, Mr. Peskov said: "Currently, the order to stop bombing continues, the evacuation of civilians from the east of Aleppo city is underway, and the conditions for humanitarian assistance are being established.

“However, all this will not be possible if terrorists continue to fire at the surrounding areas and aid routes; carry out attacks and continue to use human shields. This will not allow for the continuation of the pause in bombing to carry out humanitarian relief work.”

In addition, Mr. Peskov also rejected false accusations by the British Internal Intelligence Service (MI5) that Russia was planning cyber attacks and other aggressive measures to increase the threat against London.

Previously, in an interview with the Guardian on November 1, MI5 Director Andrew Parker said that Russia has been a hidden threat for decades, but unlike the Cold War, there are now more and more measures for Moscow to pursue its "anti-Western" goals.
