Multipurpose agricultural machine invented by a young man from the 5th Youth Volunteer Brigade.
(Baonghean.vn) - A machine that both clears weeds and tills the soil, costing approximately 3.5 million VND, has a labor productivity equivalent to 20 people, saving the owner money on labor costs. Thanks to this machine, tea plant productivity has improved significantly.

The small, 14kg machine is being perfected by Mr. Le Van Binh, Team 1, Youth Volunteer Brigade 5, Thanh Thuy commune, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An province). It far surpasses the capabilities of a typical grass trimmer as originally designed. A while ago, having acquired an engine from an old grass trimmer, he began modifying the machine to suit his family's needs.

The young man from Hanoi moved to Nghe An to start his career in early 2015 and already has a small farm. He raises broiler chickens, grows vegetables, and has a tea garden covering nearly 4000 square meters.2The machine is primarily used for tilling the soil in vegetable gardens and weeding tea plantations.
Here's a clip of Mr. Le Van Binh talking about the machine's functions:
Having served in the military for nearly 10 years, this 34-year-old man didn't have the opportunity to study mechanics. He taught himself through the internet and bought metal cutting and grinding machines to build his own machine. Mr. Binh said he currently has an idea to install an automatic sensor system for watering tea and vegetables. "After researching, I found that this electronic system, which sounds high-tech, is actually easy to implement and only costs about 700,000 VND," Mr. Binh said.
