Passenger bus lost control, dozens of people were scared

(Baonghean.vn) - While on the road, a passenger bus of Nga Tinh company lost control, crashed into an irrigation ditch, injuring one person.

The accident vehicle was lying on the irrigation ditch.

The accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. on November 1 at Con Toi hamlet, Vo Liet commune (Thanh Chuong). Witnesses said that at the time, the 12-seat passenger van with license plate 37B - 01906 of Nga Tinh was traveling on National Highway 46B in the direction of Ro bridge - Thanh Thuy. When arriving at the above location, it suddenly lost control, the vehicle slid off the asphalt road for about 20 meters, crashing into the bank of the Dong Danh dam irrigation canal.

There were many passengers on the bus at the time of the accident, but fortunately only one person was injured. The victim was then taken to the hospital by the bus company, the remaining passengers transferred to another bus to return to Con Cuong.

Rescue workers are lifting the wrecked vehicle onto the road.

Immediately after the accident, Thanh Chuong District police were present to regulate traffic and handle the incident. By 2:30 p.m. the same day, the accident vehicle was lifted off the road by rescue forces.
