During the first Republican debate in August 2015, Mr. Trump was the only one of the 10 candidates to raise his hand to signal that he would not commit to supporting the eventual Republican nominee unless that person was himself.

During that same debate, Mr. Trump messed things up when he responded to Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly about reports of his outrageous comments about women.

The Damned Emails

Hillary Clinton has been embroiled in a scandal over her use of a private email server for government business. In June 2015, the FBI director announced that she would not be charged with a crime, but instead highlighted the carelessness of Clinton and her aides in handling classified information. But just 11 days before the election, the FBI announced that it would investigate further because of the emergence of suspicious new emails. Mr. Trump said that this incident was “bigger than Watergate.”

During the Republican debate in March 2016, Mr. Trump brought up the incident when his opponent Marco Rubio mocked him for having “small hands.” He was quite upset because he thought that candidate Rubio was referring to his “other thing” and eloquently assured that everything was fine.

The “glass ceiling” is a metaphor for the barriers that prevent women from reaching the top of certain fields. Before voters at the Democratic Party Convention in June 2016, dressed in the white outfit of early 20th-century suffragettes, Mrs. Clinton proudly broke the glass ceiling that she had cracked since her 2008 campaign.

At a private fundraiser in September 2016, Mrs. Clinton told supporters that half of Mr. Trump’s supporters could be lumped into “a basket of depraved people” because they were “racist, sexist, xenophobic.” Mr. Trump soon released a video in which his supporters wore “deplorable” badges as badges of honor.

In September 2016, Clinton was down with pneumonia while attending the 9/11 memorial service in New York. Trump was quick to criticize her for not having the “stamina” to be president. Trump's outgoing personality is part of his appeal. But the release of a 2005 video showing him groping women has plunged his campaign into crisis, with politicians from both parties calling for him to drop out of the race.

He has arrived

Mr. Trump has repeatedly mocked Bill Clinton’s past of sexual assault. At the October 2016 debate, Mr. Trump brazenly walked up to the three women accusing former President Clinton and intended to let them sit at the top of the table to intimidate Mrs. Clinton.

He will not accept

Falling behind in the polls, Mr. Trump claimed that the election was rigged against him. In the final debate, when asked if he would accept the results of the vote, he said he would give an answer depending on the results. This raised concerns about the peaceful transfer of power after the election. Even the Republican National Committee rejected Mr. Trump's statement.
