Mr. Nguyen Ba Son - National Assembly member was fed up with the chaos that occurred at the area where some goods such as leather wallets, leather bags... were gathered to be destroyed, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordination with Department PC46, Hanoi City Police.

"It's funny and shameful," National Assembly member Nguyen Ba Son commented.

Mr. Son explained, "Everyone knows that it is a counterfeit product and everyone knows that it is a product that must be destroyed, but they still rush in to take it."

According to Mr. Son, the above incident needs to be viewed from two perspectives, including from the state management agency and from the participants. From the management agency's perspective, Mr. Son said, if looking at the actions of the participants makes one feel indignant and ashamed, then the actions of the state management agency that organized the destruction should be condemned ten times.

"It's clearly not okay at all, because on one side is attitude and awareness and on the other side is public responsibility," said Mr. Son.

"I have the feeling that people don't seem to want to fully implement the goal of destroying counterfeit goods and products. That's why everyone takes for themselves. Whoever wants to take, snatch, or do whatever they want can do."

Because according to Mr. Son, if we want to carry out the destruction work according to regulations, the state management agency must organize according to the correct process, with careful preparation to ensure that the products that must be destroyed will be destroyed.

"It's impossible that right after reading the reason for destruction, people rushed in and took all the stuff, leaving only the organizer standing there like that," the delegate was indignant.

On the part of the attendees, the Da Nang delegation said that the invited people were reporters, officials and employees of the ministry, which means that the participants were carefully selected. Therefore, these people need to understand that they are there to witness and propagate so that consumers understand and do not use fake and counterfeit goods.

"But they didn't do that! Instead of coming here for that purpose, they came here with the intention of looking at the pile of goods to see if there was anything interesting, anything they could take. This is really shameful."

Mr. Son continued, looking at the above mentioned act of stealing makes anyone who sees it feel indignant and indignant. That image is like a domino effect, everyone knows that the story is bad but no one admits that they are bad and only thinks that the person next to them is bad.

"There is a very close connection in the crowd psychology of the majority of Vietnamese people. From small things like robbing food, robbing raincoats and then robbing and destroying things. So, robbing things is not simply a story of yesterday when they suddenly rushed in to rob things and shocked and surprised the whole society. Here, the crowd psychology has been formed over a long period of time and during that time they have never thought that if they are wrong, they must do the right thing. However, Mr. Son still emphasized the role of the organizing agency, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Hanoi police. Mr. Son said, "A thief does not necessarily have the blood of theft, but if people provoke their greed and create opportunities for them to steal, then the blood of theft will arise. It is like the proverb "fat hanging in the cat's mouth"". Therefore, Mr. Son believes that the way the state management agency organizes and implements to achieve the goal is the duty and responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology to fulfill the tasks assigned by the people.

Also indignant and saying that the above grotesque image is unacceptable, National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Quoc Khanh of Hanoi delegation said:

Ms. Khanh asked: Is it due to lack of understanding of the law or is it due to poor organization and propaganda?

"Acting like that because of a personal thought is very offensive. It is best that those who took the items quickly return them so that the management agency can destroy them," Ms. Khanh requested.

Ms. Khanh also said that the above mentioned chaos and law violations were caused by the management agency's poor information and propaganda.

Sharing the same view, National Assembly Deputy Bui Van Xuyen - Thai Binh delegation also affirmed: "That is unacceptable!". According to Mr. Xuyen, the rule for destroying counterfeit goods must be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the law on the order and procedures for destruction; how to establish a destruction council; how to destroy to ensure the environment and ensure relevant regulations?. There cannot be a case of jumping in to compete for goods and products to be destroyed," said Mr. Xuyen.

To let the above situation happen, Mr. Xuyen said bluntly, "the fault lies in the careless organization, not following the law, leading to the situation of people jumping in to take things and then not being able to stop it."
