Tan Ky: More than 3000 free bowls of porridge for poor patients

(Baonghean.vn) - Organized in a systematic manner, the program "Bowl of Gratitude Porridge" organized by the District Youth Union, Tan Ky District Youth Union in coordination with the District General Hospital and Hoang Nguyen Company Limited is organized regularly, frequently and with quality. After more than 2 months of implementation, more than 3,000 free porridge portions have been provided to poor patients.

"Bowl of love porridge" is a program registered by the grassroots Youth Unions and affiliated Youth Unions to cook and distribute every Tuesday and Friday morning.

150 nutritious porridge portions are delivered to patients being treated at Tan Ky District General Hospital with each porridge distribution.

This is an activity with profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the responsibility of young people towards society. The activity continues to be maintained and receives close attention from local leaders, sponsors, and enthusiastic participation from a large number of youth union members. It creates a positive effect in public opinion as well as arouses the spirit of mutual love of the young generation towards social security activities and volunteering for community life.
