38 Nghe An child artists awarded
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 6, at the Viet Duc Children's Cultural House (Vinh City), the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Nghe An Province Children's Fine Arts Award concluded and awarded prizes to 38 children whose paintings won prizes.

After the success of the first Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Award, on November 26, 2015, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision 5521/QD.UBND on the establishment of the Organizing Committee of the second Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Award, assigning the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments to organize and implement. After more than 5 months of launching, by September 30, 2016, the Organizing Committee received 12,120 paintings from primary and secondary school students of 11 districts, cities and towns in the province.

Most of the entries were evaluated as having thoughtful content, expressing the perception of art and life in a naive, innocent and simple but very lively way. Along with the expression of the composition, the rich colors created a vibration for the viewers. After 3 rounds of selection, the jury selected the best works to award. At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 First prizes, 6 Second prizes, 10 Third prizes and 20 Encouragement prizes to the authors and awarded 6 collective prizes to the units with outstanding achievements in the competition.
