Shooting incident in Dak Nong: Two more suspects surrender.
On October 29th, information from the Dak Nong Provincial Police indicated that, in connection with the shooting incident that resulted in 19 casualties, two more suspects had surrendered to the police by the afternoon of October 29th.
Accordingly, the two suspects who surrendered were identified as Ninh Viet Tho (36 years old) and Ninh Viet Binh (34 years old), both residing in Thai Nguyen province. It is known that Tho and Ninh are brothers.
According to the investigators, after committing the crime, the two suspects fled into the forest but occasionally contacted their families.
After several days in hiding, and with the persuasion of their families and investigators, the two suspects surrendered to investigators from the Ministry of Public Security on the evening of October 28th.

In connection with the case, the police had previously initiated criminal proceedings and issued an arrest warrant for Dang Van Hien (40 years old, residing in Lang Son province) for the crime of "murder".
After committing the crime, Hien fled deep into the farming area of Tuy Duc district, and on the morning of October 28th, thanks to the persuasion of the investigating officers, Hien surrendered in the presence of officers from the Ministry of Public Security.
Specifically, Ha Van Truong (31 years old, residing in Binh Phuoc province) was charged and temporarily detained by the Dak Nong provincial investigation agency on October 28.
| Case developments: On the morning of October 23, employees of Long Son Co., Ltd. (Tuy Duc district, Dak Nong province) used machinery to bulldoze a cashew orchard that had been cultivated for many years by Mr. Hoang Van Thang's family (51 years old, residing in Dak Nong province). Because the company had not yet compensated or assisted the people and proceeded with the bulldozing without consulting the local authorities, many people became angry and used shotguns and sports rifles to fire at the group of workers, resulting in 3 deaths and 16 injuries. |
