Trinh Nhat Minh won the championship of The Voice Kids 2016.

Nine-year-old Dong Nhi's student won "The Voice Kids Vietnam" with a prize of 300 million VND in the final on the evening of October 29th in Ho Chi Minh City.

The grand finale of the fourth season of "The Voice Kids Vietnam" took place in Ho Chi Minh City. Nhat Minh brilliantly surpassed three competitors to win the championship title, receiving the highest number of votes from the audience (36.09%).Nhat Minh was born and raised in an artistic family. His parents were artists of the Ha Tay Cheo Troupe (now the Hanoi Cheo Theatre). From a young age, he absorbed the melodies, rhythms, and rhythms of Cheo from his parents. At the age of seven, Nhat Minh participated in the VOV Children's Singing Contest and won the special prize. In the same year, he participated in the Do Re Mi Duo program and won the championship title with Quoc Thai.

The top 4 contestants, including Thuy Binh, Milana (from Vu Cat Tuong's team), Nhat Minh (from Dong Nhi - Ong Cao Thang's team), and Mai Anh (from Noo Phuoc Thinh's team), competed in solo and duet performances with their coaches. In the solo performance segment,Nhat Minh performed an excerpt from the traditional Vietnamese opera "The Witch Who Feared Ghosts" (see video) and the song "City of Quan Ho Folk Music". The boy wore an ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), carried a flag, and sang while playing the drums and acting. The audience cheered at the versatile performance of Dong Nhi's student. Nhat Minh's father stood backstage, providing vocal support for his son's singing performance.

Dong NhiTogether with Nhat Minh, we will present the performance."We belong together"(See video). The female singer chose this song from her album and rewrote the lyrics to better suit Nhat Minh. The boy from Hanoi demonstrated his versatility by singing many different genres.

Mai Anh, Thuy Binh, and Milana were the three runners-up of the program. Each received a prize worth 50 million VND. Noo and his students sang a medley of "Three-Leaf Clover - Chili Dragonfly" (see video). The performance was made more humorous and interesting thanks to Noo Phuoc Thinh's impersonation of a student.

Thụy Bình performed "Singing from the Roots" (see video) with a traditional musical arrangement featuring the bầu, nhị, nguyệt, and tranh instruments. The folk-inspired song showcased the sweet and profound voice of the young man from Ben Tre. Thụy Bình wore an áo dài (traditional Vietnamese long dress) and khăn đóng (headscarf), displaying a mature performance style. The audience continuously applauded, praising every nuanced note of Vũ Cát Tường's student. His coach commented: "C"I'm so happy that everyone has seen the growth in my child. 'Singing about our roots' is a very difficult song with constantly changing fast and slow tempos, and it requires great skill to perform it."

Vu Cat Tuong sang a duet with Thuy Binh in the performance "I"(See video). This is a song that the coach composed specifically for his student, about the boy's journey atThe Voice Kids Vietnam 2016.

Earlier, Milana from Vu Cat Tuong's team opened the show with the song "O Me Ly".The little Russian girl overcame the language barrier, singing in Vietnamese to win over the audience.

Vũ Cát Tường rewrote the hit song "Belief" in English for Milana in their duet (see video). Through this performance, the singer thanked the audience for supporting her protégé's return to the final round.The singer of "Rainy Marks" played the piano and 100 fans sang along to the performance of the young Russian girl.

The final night of "The Voice Kids Vietnam 2016" attracted a large audience. Although the show started at 9 PM, by 8 PM, approximately 1,000 people had already filled the venue. Viewers had to queue early to secure their seats in the auditorium.
