The people of Cha Lau village celebrate the great unity festival.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12th, Colonel Tran Van Hung, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, attended the great solidarity festival with the people of Cha Lau village, Nam Giai commune, Que Phong district.
Also attending were representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of Que Phong district, and a large number of people from Cha Lau village.

Over the years, the Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations of Cha Lau village have mobilized all strata of people to promote labor and production emulation movements, actively guiding people to apply scientific and technological advancements, and transforming crop and livestock varieties to bring practical results and gradually increase people's income. The implementation of civilized lifestyles in funerals and weddings is organized according to new customs, and outdated traditions are being pushed back. In 2016, 76% of families in Cha Lau village achieved the title of "Cultural Family," and 100% of families relocated livestock pens away from under their stilt houses...

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Van Hung highly appreciated the achievements that the people of Cha Lau village have strived to attain. However, given the reality of a high poverty rate, he hoped that the villagers would continue to support each other in economic development through specific models and activities. Along with that, he urged them to unite in the fight against social evils and the schemes of hostile forces, contributing to the protection of peace in the village and the sovereignty of the national border.
