Suzuki GD110, cheap manual transmission motorbike to be sold in Vietnam soon

Suzuki Vietnam has just announced that the cheap manual transmission motorbike GD110 will be sold in May 2017, targeting young customers who love a unique motorbike.

Launched in Thailand last year and officially present at the Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2016 held in April, Suzuki GD110 was revealed to be on sale in June 2016. However, up to this point, Suzuki GD110 has not officially been on sale in the Vietnamese market, the sale date has been postponed to May next year.

The official price of the vehicle has not been revealed, only that it will cost under 30 million VND and is positioned by Suzuki Vietnam towards young customers who love manual transmission vehicles. In Thailand, the Suzuki GD110 costs 1,200 USD.

As a model for men, Suzuki GD110 has high, wide, and liberal handlebars with an upright sitting position, a long saddle and a rear cargo rack. In addition, the vehicle also has a smooth headlight cluster, a minimalist instrument cluster, a front-mounted fuel tank and other classic backbone-style details in the taillights, front and rear fenders...

The GD110 has a compact size with a length of 1,900 mm, a width of 750 mm, a height of 1,050 mm and a saddle height of only 750 mm, and a ground clearance of 140 mm. The vehicle weighs 108 kg and comes with a large fuel tank of up to 9.2 liters.

Suzuki GD110 has a small capacity engine.

As the name suggests, Suzuki equips the GD110 with a small 112.8cc air-cooled engine and a 4-speed gearbox. The engine produces 8 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Because it is a cheap manual clutch model, it only has a pair of drum brakes and front forks, rear spring shock absorbers combined with a large 17-inch rim set.
