Honda Avancier luxury SUV launched

Honda has just launched a brand new high-end SUV called Avancier in the Chinese market. This model is positioned higher than the CR-V and is a rival to the Toyota Highlander.

Honda Avancier is the "big brother" in the 5-seat SUV family of the Japanese car company.

The Honda Avancier was designed primarily for the Chinese market, where large, spacious cars are popular. Therefore, the car was first launched there and has a price equivalent to 39,795 USD.

The Japanese car company designed the Honda Avancier with large dimensions of length x width x height (4,816 x 1,942 x 1,669) mm, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. This size is relatively large, on par with a 7-seater car like the Toyota Highlander or Kia Sorento. However, the Avancier is designed in a sporty style similar to the BMW X6, so it is only arranged for 5 seats.

The Avancier's appearance is taken care of by Honda with a style that is both luxurious and powerful, specifically the front is still the familiar design like on the Honda CR-V with a large chrome-plated metal bar integrated with the Honda logo in the middle. The sharp headlights using LED technology are designed as a single block of the radiator grille. The front bumper is designed in a large size, with LED fog lights.

The rear of the Honda Avancier has a sporty design in a trendy SUV - Coupe style.

The hood is curved and gradually lowers towards the rear, the unique taillights are designed in a stylized C-shaped boomerang style similar to the Honda Civic 2016. The exhaust pipes are arranged on both sides, adding dynamism to the Avancier, and finally, the large 5-spoke wheels complete the sporty design of the high-end SUV.

The interior stands out with high-quality materials, quite fully equipped with a 10.1-inch touch screen integrated with Honda Connect, Apple Carplay, CD drive hidden behind the touch screen. The 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel integrates many function keys to support the driver. In addition, Avancier also has a spacious passenger compartment with large legroom, panoramic sunroof above, seat position memory system, electric adjustment for the 2 front seats.

Honda Avancier is equipped with a 2.0 Turbo engine with a maximum capacity of 272 horsepower, maximum torque of 370 Nm with a 9-speed ZF automatic transmission. This engine applies the most advanced technologies that Honda currently owns to turn the car into a true high-end SUV.

Currently, Honda Avancier is only distributed in the Chinese market, it is unclear whether this model can appear in other markets or not.
